This web dump
The original intent was to publish various software I made, some of my photography, and just about anything else that might have some interest to some of my friends.
I have a lot of trouble to take the time to actually write about stuff that happens in my life, so I'm not actually expecting much content (and the first year certainly supports this). I generally like to do things, not speak about them!
And now a year have passed. I think the goal of this site hasn't changed, but now I know that I can't be trusted to fill it much :P
If you happen to read this, I suppose you have a lot of extra time so maybe some of the junk I write may be of some interest to you!
Anyhow, I'll do my best (which isn't that much in this case) to add stuff in this tiny byte dump even if my only reader is Google! >:)

Q: Why is this page in English?
Sub-Q: Why this question?
Sub-A: English is my second language, and I learned it using my C-64, then magazines about C-64, then my Amiga, then magazines and books about the Amiga, and then by being friendly with my TV, up to my late teens.
In the past 10 years or so, I continued in the same pattern, but more seriously: most books in Physics where in English. I discovered that the translated novels I was reading were missing a lot of content, so I began buying them untranslated. With the advent of DVDs, I also had access to movies in their original form, so I began buying lots of them (I have something like 400 titles).
SO… I learned English in a non-professional way, and I know it's far from being perfect. Thus… the question.
A: So why is this website mostly in English? For theses simples reasons:
I often stumbled in pages or programs that seemed interesting. But… they were in Japanese, German or whatever else. Do I use them? No.
⇒ English is the universal language. Anyone who hopes to be understood by the masses should use it.
Writing (I hope) helps me augment my abilities with English;
⇒ Writing in English is, I think, a good way to actually learn it.
Thus, I use English as much as I can. People seem to understand what I write so it can't be that bad anyway.

I used to give some insight in my life, but since it was even more useless than the rest of this place, I decided to remove it! >:)
